Meine 8. Woche - 7. - 13. Oktober - My eight week
The eight week started like every week with a monday of boring school.
Tuesday I had a meet in Waverly. You find the pictures in the photos section. One of my teammates, JEFF KELLOG, won the JV race and we all acted like we won! the whole meet was om a golf course again, but it was more flat than in our first golf course meet. i ran the 3.1 miles in 19min and 33sec.
Am Dienstag hatten wir ein X-C meet in Wavely. Ich habe einige bilder geschossen und werde diese auch schnellstmoeglich veroeffentlichen. Der Lauf war einer der besomderen Art, denn einer unserer Laufer, Jeff Kellog gewann das JV Rennen. Der erste und einzige Sieg. Wir sind auf einem Golfplatz gelaufen und es war bearenkalt. Die ersten kiometer habe ich gedacht, ich schaffe es nicht bis zum ende. Ein Glueck war es aber ein flacher Kurs und ich habe ihn nach 19 minuten und 33 sec. beendet.
On friday I went with the football team to their game in Lansing. They lost with 40 to nothing! I don't want to say they are bad because I don't know anything about football, but I'd like to say Lansing was better organised. Their cheerleader looked better, they danced better, they had a orchestra, they had tons of fans and a better team. But I had fun! I took photos, watched my firtst full time football game and i had fun with some friends. Click here to get to the pictures
Am Freitag habe ich das Football Team zu ihrem Spiel nach Lansing begleited. Sie habem Haushoch verloren aber was solls. Lansing soll auch einer der besten Sportschulen im Schldistrict sein. Wie ich spaeter herausgefunden habe ist eine weitere Rotary Austauschschulerin aus deutschland in Lansing, und sie hat sich auch genau an die verherende Niederlage meines Teams erinnert.
on sunday I had a cross country meet in Marathon! I bought a shirt which says "14th Anniversary of Marathon Invitationals", so it looks like I ran the Marathon. I like the shirt just for that reason.
Am Sonntag hatten wir ein X-C Rennen in Marathon. Ich habe dort ein T-Shirt erworben, wenn ich es trage denken alle die das Dorf Marathon nicht kennen erst mal, dass ich echt die 42.5 Kilomter laufe. cool nicht? Das ist eigentich auch der Grund warum ich das T-Shirt gekauft habe.
There was a International Day with Rotary and a Walk-a-thon fot Polio Plus because nobody gave me a ride. I tried very hard to find a ride but most of the people didn't went wo the events or they lived to far away.
